Michigan lily grows in moist or wet openings in upland forests, as well as in wet prairies, wet meadows, edges of springs, marshes, or streams, and in ditches. Grows best on a rich, moist, black organic or mineral soil. Allow room for young, non-flowering plants to get sun and store up energy in their bulbs. Stunning flowers on tall stalks.
